Half Term Homework

Ensure the Green section of 'My Progress' is completed by 2nd Nov.

Show how Scientific Principles can be applied to your design. Simply put, describe how levers are used in your design. Show how Mechanical Advantage can be used to make moving loads easier.

If you're doing the phone/tablet holder describe how air pressure can be used to support your device.

Use the scores to concentrate on writing questions and matching answers to those areas you need to work on.
For those aiming for higher grades you should be aiming at writing and answering questions that attract the most marks. Look back at past exam papers for example of these.

If you need to develop your skills in a particular area you (eg. Interpreting drawings) you can look up previous exam papers and see the question numbers you can try. It also gives you a good idea of recurring questions you can pretty much guarantee you'll be asked....!
